I was thinking of printing patterns on bubble wrap to make posters. I find a work designed by Lais Iloma.

In this work, bubble wrap is used as medium for the poster. The proposal is to use the posters as the main element for communication through the applications, wrapped and tied together to the objects and ambience, creating a direct relation with them, that becomes part of the identity.

Then I went to the printmaking workshop to ask for some advice. The staff said that traditional printmaking method may damage the bubble so I need to try other methods.

PHOTO TRANSFER

I was advised to try photo transfer to transfer the pattern onto bubble wrap.

There isn't photo transfer potch in the art shop, so I could only buy PVA glue instead.

First, Laser print the pattern on paper, then apply the glue evenly to the area to be transferred.

Secondly, paste the printed paper onto the glued bubble wrap.

Third, squeeze out the air bubbles so that the pattern adheres completely to the bubble wrap.

Fourth, Wait for the glue to dry completely.

Fifth, dampen the dry paper with a cloth and carefully wipe the paper off; the pattern will remain on the bubble wrap.

Because the PVA glue's transfer effect is not very well, It is difficult to retain a complete pattern on plastic. So I didn't use this option.
