I showed my ideas and talked with my classmate and tutors, and I got the feedback from them.
They think the cocoon-to-butterfly process may not suitable to express the concept of comfort zone as it's the essential stage of butterfly, they must experience the stage of staying in the cocoon so that they can fly.
Therefore maybe I will change the idea of my book. But I think 'cocoon' can still use as a kind of concept in my installtion like the feelings of being bound and confined.
Apart from it, tutors asked us to review and confirm why we want to do this project.
I began to refect what inspired me to do this project and what I want to achieve from this project.
I was inspired by my own experinence of always like to stay in my comfort zone. I found that I always liked to stay in my comfort zone, eating basically the same food every day, buying the same items, walking the same way to school, always interacting and playing with the same people, and so on. Although staying in my comfort zone gave me a sense of control and security, the same routine gradually made me feel bored and anxious. This experience made me want to do this project to explore futher about comfort zone.
And I found that this is a common problem that many contemporary youth including me have the 'comfort zone dilemma', so I want to explore and reflect on this, hoping to help people who has this problem to maintain a positive mindset to find possible solutions to this.
I hope that my designs will resonate with and help people who are going through the same experiences as me.

These days I read a book called The Myth of Sisyphus. It provoked me to think about the rebellion against mechanical life. Sisyphus lives a mechanical life by walking the same path and doing the same thing day after day. But one day the 'why' arises and everything begins in that weariness tinged with amazement.
I think I also lived a mechanical life when I staying in my comfort zone, When I got tired of this mechanical life, it was time for an awakening of consciousness. This prompted me to question, “Is the comfort zone really comfortable?” and “How do we deal with our comfort zones?”
