I searched for some cocoon arts to see how other artists have expressed this concept.

The outstretched hands revealed an eerie feeling, as if he were buried in the cocoon. Is it truly warm inside?





she uses delicate thin paper and crocheted yarn techniques to create her unique sculptures. These organic structure of fragile living beings reveal a strange sense of weirdness.

It looks like a shelter cast in rigidity and concrete, but in disrepair.

it is beautiful and also alien, comforting and also disquieting, and flirts with an eerie insanity.



I get the sense from these artworks that cocoons are often used to express a feeling of being bound and confined. And artists often use fabrics as the material to create cocoon.
